Testers' guide

What to do, and how, for every test. Keep it open while you work.

1. What a test is

Each test has a code (for example BOD-STD-01). You draft one pattern in Easeline with the settings given for that code, print it, sew a toile and report what had to be corrected.

You have 45 days from the day you are approved to finish your tests.

Every test in a round runs on one version of the engine. The version is printed on the pattern, and formulas are not changed in the middle of a round except to fix a fault.

3. Drafting and printing

4. The toile

Sew a toile from a medium non-stretch fabric (cotton, muslin or calico). If you change the pattern before sewing, tell us: that toile does not count as a test of the pattern as drafted, though the information is still useful.

5. Photographs
